A meme video bot: turn a forwarded joke or photo into a captioned, watermarked video automatically, with Farsi text support.
OVERVIEW
Editing every meme clip by hand was too slow, so I built a Telegram bot that does the whole render pipeline itself: rendered with MoviePy/FFmpeg over rotating backgrounds, with full Farsi text support baked in.
Between the accounts it powered, the videos it produced racked up over 15 million views. Two pages built entirely on its output were later sold at 10,000 followers each.
ROLE & CONSTRAINTS
Solo build, end to end: the Telegram bot interface, the MoviePy/FFmpeg render pipeline, background rotation, and Farsi text rendering. The whole point was throughput — the bot only earns its keep if turning a forwarded joke into a postable video takes less time than editing it by hand ever did.
RESULTS & LESSONS
15M+ views and two pages sold at 10,000 followers each — proof that automating a repetitive creative task can outrun doing it by hand, without losing what made the content work in the first place.
